Return and Refund Policy (Perishable Goods)

We take pride in providing high-quality perishable products and aim to ensure every order arrives fresh and in perfect condition.
Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and our procedures regarding returns and refunds.


1. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Consumers purchasing goods online are entitled to cancel their contract of sale and obtain a full refund within 30 days of delivery within the United Kingdom, pursuant to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. During the applicable statutory period, the consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal and return the goods to the seller.

It should be noted that perishable goods are expressly excluded from these statutory cooling-off rights, on the basis that such items cannot reasonably be expected to remain in an appropriate condition for the duration of the 30-day cancellation periods.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Perishable goods such as food, beverages, flowers, or plants

  • Items made to order or personalised for you

  • Opened or partially consumed products

  • Gift cards or vouchers


3. Faulty or Damaged Items

We take every care to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition.
If your item arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, please contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery, providing:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Once verified, we will offer a replacement or refund, depending on your preference and product availability.

Please note: Damage caused by mishandling after delivery (e.g. incorrect storage) will not be eligible for refund or replacement.


4. Refunds (if applicable)

If a refund is approved, we will process it to your original method of payment within 7 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Items returned without prior agreement

  • Delays caused by courier services beyond our control

  • Failure to follow storage or usage instructions that result in spoilage


5. Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@cornwallmade.com.
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we can cancel it and issue a full refund.
Once the order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of the goods.
